Frequently asked questions

Shipping information

We ship all orders from our studio in Amsterdam:
- Groenhoedenveem
- 81019 BL, Amsterdam
- The Netherlands

Your order will be shipped within 48 hours of receiving your order confirmation on business days (not including public holidays). As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email or text with your tracking number and a link for tracking your order.
Shipment costs

Netherlands:

- PostNL: €10
- Pick-up at YDU: free of charge

Your order will be delivered through PostNL and has an estimated delivery of 1-3 workdays.

Free shipping from € 175.
Return fees are included in the price.


Europe:

- Standard (3-6 days): €15
- Express (2-3 days): €25

Free shipping from € 350.
Return fees are included in the price.


Rest of the world:

- Express (3-7 days): €35

Return fees are not included in the price.

Returns & Exchanges

Return Policy:

YDU has a 14-day return policy. All returns have to be shipped back to us within 14 days after receiving the item.  

All garments must be returned in their original condition, with all tags attached.Please make sure the parcel is securely sealed, to avoid any damage.

We will refund your return within 14 days of its arrival, back to the same card/account you used when placing your order.  

Considering the designers we work with, and the store-type of YDU, we only cover the return fees of order within Europe. The costs for returning the package from outside of Europe has to be covered by the sender.

Exchanges:

YDU cannot exchanges items that are purchased online. If you want to purchase a different item, another size or color please return the purchased item and place a new order in the online store.
Faulty products

All items are quality controlled and checked before they are shipped. Should you receive an item that is not in good condition please contact us immediately at store@ydu.design. Please note that any claim requires that you have not used the item inappropriately and that the item is not defected due to your conduct. You will receive compensation for the cost of fixing an item, a new item, a discount or a full refund for the item including shipping costs.
